Our Funders

Community Gaming Development Corporation

CASA wishes to extend special recognition to the Community Gaming Development Corporation for the extraordinary support they provided during our period of transition. At a time when it mattered most, their commitment to our mission went above and beyond, and we are deeply thankful for the role they played in helping us navigate that chapter with stability and confidence. Their generosity made a lasting difference.

Delta Bingo

CASA extends our sincere thanks to Delta Bingo for their support in facilitating fundraising efforts to support our organization as we empower members of our community. Their partnership has provided a meaningful avenue for community members to contribute to our mission, and we are grateful for their ongoing role in helping us sustain the vital work we do.

EASE Grant - 2026

The Government of Ontario through the Enhancing Accessible Spaces for Everyone (EASE) funding provided funds for a new accessible front porch, exterior lift, signage, and evacuation chair. CASA is grateful and excited for the opportunity to ensure the shelter is safe and accessible for all members of the community.

Niagara Community Foundation - 2026

CASA gratefully acknowledges the financial support of the Niagara Community Foundation (NCF); a public foundation serving the people of Niagara since 2000. NCF connects donors to causes and communities to resources through permanent endowment funds, providing grants to eligible charitable organizations in culture, health, education, environment, recreation and social service sectors. NCF turns intent into impact.

The NCF grant will allow for the establishment of a seamless continuum of services to support individuals living in poverty in Fort Erie ensuring that resources are coordinated, service gaps are identified, and duplication is minimized. Our community needs assessment will map existing programs, identify service gaps, and highlight volunteer, staffing, and partnership opportunities.

The goal is to develop a clear roadmap for implementing coordinated, community-based services that respond to urgent needs for housing and food security, while fostering long-term stability and resilience for individuals and families experiencing poverty.

RBC - 2026

Thank you RBC for a fun day of setting up the newly renovated shelter for residents to move in! Six members of RBC, Fort Erie and Ridgeway Branches came to CASA to clean, organize, and assemble furniture to help get ready for opening!

Ontario Trillium Foundation

The OTF provided a generous funding through the Capital Grant Program. An accessible washroom, two accessible doors, a Stairchair, as well as an outdoor patio and pathway has increased the accessibility of the shelter.

United Way: Community Cafe

Thank you to the United Way for funding the Community Cafe. In partnership with the Fort Erie Multicultural Center, CASA hosts a Community Cafe Hour gathering at the shelter centered around food and community!
